How do I apply for a warranty request?

Making an online request

The best way to submit a warranty request is through our online form below:

Please note: Photos of the issue must accompany all warranty requests. 

Finding the Serial Number

If you have the Shadowspec Serenity™, Shadowspec Unity™ or Shadowspec Retreat™ umbrellas we will need the serial number to process your warranty request. 

 

For the Shadowspec Serenity™ and Shadowspec Unity™ umbrella models you will find this serial number on the main spar, in the position indicated below:

For the Shadowspec Smart Battery Pack, the serial number will be found on the back of the battery in the position indicated below:

For the Shadowspec Retreat™ umbrella the serial number will be found on the underside of the U-Bracket indicated in the position indicated below:

Making a request by email

To make a warranty request by phone, please email customercare@shadowspec with the following: 

  • Name of original purchaser
  • Date of original purchase or sales order number
  • Serial number (For Shadowspec Serenity™, Shadowspec Unity™ or Shadowspec Retreat™ umbrella models)
  • Photos of the issue
  • Description of how the issue occurred and Your desired outcome
